This panorama was taken for the Wrinkle Project, on the Spring Equinox, March 20th, 1999, around 6:46 P.M., a few minutes after sunset. The vantage point is the true summit of Squaw Peak, overlooking the Greater Phoenix Area, the Valley of the Sun. Squaw Peak is a very popular hiking spot, especially with the local fitness crowd and visitors. The stunning views of the city and its environs make at least one of the reasons obvious. The increasingly-steep trail leads to a small, flat area (visible in the panorama) where people stop to rest and enjoy the view before heading back down. Attaining the actual summit requires a scramble up a steeper slope. There, one can perch briefly on the very rocky point of the mountain.

This panorama is featured on Issue 1 of Kaidan's Interactive Marketing CD.
