Aglow with Tradition

This panorama was shot in the wee morning hours of December 25th, 1999 (after the traffic died out) with a Nikon CoolPix 700 digital camera using a wide-angle lens. It was mounted on a Benbo Trekker tripod with a Kaidan KiWi+ panoramic head. The images were corrected and composited (from multiple exposures) in Adobe Photoshop 5.5. Professor Helmut Dersch's Panorama Tools plug-ins were used to correct for lens distortion. The images were stitched and converted to panoramas using Apple's QuickTimeVR Authoring Studio version 1.0.1. QuickTime 4.0 Pro with various plug-ins was used to convert the panoramas to streaming panoramas and to create the multi-bandwidth reference movie.
