Amsterdam Houses Pop-Up Card
[OAC01]

Amsterdam Houses Pop-Up Card

Rows of houses like this date back to the 17th and 18th century, where a major city planning was undertaken. Amsterdam was rapidly developing as a commercial city in those days. Canals were the main traffic network. The houses were built so as to maximize land use between the canals. These neat and trim houses, reflected in the canals, attract us as if they came out of a children's picture book.

Commercially-produced die-cut origamic architecture pop-up card and envelope.

Cards measure 16cm by 11cm (about 6 1/4 inches by 4 5/16 inches) when closed.

Design by Masahiro Chatani.
