Elizabeth Tregor-Dokken Joins Arizona Opera, Takes Director of Development PostJuly 22, 1997
Phoenix - On Monday, July 21st, Elizabeth Tregor-Dokken joined Arizona Opera as the company's Director of Development. As the Director of Development, Ms. Tregor-Dokken is responsible for providing the leadership and expertise necessary to oversee the entire development effort and to play a key role in the company's strategic planning. Other top priorities for Ms. Tregor-Dokken is to ensure the Opera meet its 1997-98 Annual Fund goal, expanding the Opera's major gifts program and building the Opera's endowment fund. Since 1996, Ms. Tregor-Dokken served as a Development Officer for the Central Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross where she was responsible for the coordination of corporate and community promotions. Before working at the American Red Cross, Ms. Tregor-Dokken served (1987-1996) as a Development Officer for Arizona State University where she created development and alumni programs for three colleges. She has an extensive background in not for profits that includes development, marketing, volunteer recruitment, program development, and board membership.
